Lady Mustangs fight on Senior Night

Payton Powers was one of the seniors that celebrated her final volleyball game at Max Copeland Gym on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Powers has moved all over the court this season, but her best work is done as the Lady Mustangs' primary setter.

In the final home game of the season, the Marble Falls Lady Mustangs volleyball team fell to Pflugerville Weiss by a score of 3-1 after Senior Night celebrations.

Although the outcome wasn't exactly what the team wanted, Lady Mustangs Head Coach Tanya Powers was pleased with the girls' performance and energy.

“It was Senior Night so I put my seniors out there, and, for the most part, they wanted it,” she said. “I'm not that disappointed. They're going to remember this game in a positive way.”
