Raymond C. Ross, 73, of Buchanan Dam, Texas, has passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019.

Ray was born on Oct. 21, 1946, on Chebeague Island, Maine, he was the son of George and Estella Ross.

Ray was a Vietnam Veteran that served in the United States Army 1/10 Cav 4th Div. He retired from Delta Airlines in 2007.

Ray loved to travel and had many adventures and was full of love for his family and friends.

He will be greatly missed and loved always by all who knew him.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; six sisters; and a son-in-law.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice; children, Annie Beagan and husband Bob, Michele Floyd-Janicke, and Dwayne Lewis and wife Shara; two sons, Ray and Chad; his brother, Alfred; and his sisters, Helen and Shirley. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Burnet, Texas.
