Chatella Kay Worley

June 25, 1965 — December 4, 2019

Chatella Kay Worley, 54, of Kingsland, Texas passed away Dec. 4, 2019. She was born to William Henry Sr. and Linda Kay (Wilkes) Worley on June 25, 1965 in Burnet, Texas.

Chatella was raised in Marble Falls and graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1983. After graduation she received multiple local and academic scholarships to attend Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and received her bachelor’s degree in interior design at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. After college Chatella went into Real Estate until 2009 when the market went down, and her health would no longer allow her to work. This led her to become a full-time caregiver for her mother and grandmother until their passing in early 2013. With their passing she became a full-time dog herder and cat whisperer. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks and going to yard sales looking for her next treasure or antique.

She is survived by her dear friends, Gus Cortez, Mary Bass; brother, Bill Worley and wife Janet of Granite Shoals, Texas; nephews, Tres Worley and wife Kristina of Jacksonville, Florida, Travis Worley of Granite Shoals, Texas, and David Butler of Marble Falls, Texas; and one niece, Amber Weikel of Granite Shoals, Texas. She also leaves behind seven great-nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; extended family; friends; five dogs; one mangey cat; four donkeys; one mule; one Holstein steer named Brisket; and three horses.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 at Putnam Funeral Home in Kingsland, Texas with Reverend Willie Monnet officiating. An online guest register may be signed at PutnamCares.com
