A seepage issue has delayed the use of a newly-built reservoir downstream on the Colorado River, raising concerns by the Central Texas Water Coalition about the impact on water customers in the upper Highland Lakes region.

When you look at the growth that's going on and you look at the low in-flows, the trend is there. There's not enough water coming down anymore,” said CTWC president Jo Karr Tedder. “When it gets to be 100 degrees again, where is the water going to be.” …
