Burnet County raises cost to house female inmates

Other counties wishing to house female inmates in the Burnet County Jail will be paying a higher cost per day after a vote Friday morning by the Burnet County Commissioners Court.
Burnet County has raised the cost of housing female inmates from $45 per day to $50 per day. The cost to house male inmates will remain $45 per day. …
