Senior outfielder Brooklyn Chavez has produced since moving into the lead-off spot for the Lady Mustangs. On Monday, Chavez finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a single, double, a stolen base and a run.

The Marble Falls High School softball team emerged victorious from a defensive battle against Leander Rouse in their District 17-5A opener on Monday, March 2 at home.
The Lady 'Stangs recovered from a lead-off home run by the Lady Raiders in the top of the first inning and didn't allow another run for the rest of the game in a 3-1 victory.
