Marble Falls economic development leaders forged ahead April 15 with downtown project work as state officials signaled the potential end to the pandemic crisis in the next several weeks.

Gov. Greg Abbott announced April 13 that he would begin a gradual rollout of the re-opening of the state's economy in mid May. Local officials have kept crews working in anticipation of the end of coronavirus restrictions which closed businesses and venues. …
