The Caring Aces Charity Dinner was held Sunday night, Feb. 21, at On the Rocks in Cottonwood Shores.

Guests were treated to a three-course dinner, the music of Tyler Smith and dinner speaker Bill Rives.

Members of the Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce fill the Lighthouse Country Club Restaurant to overflowing Saturday, Feb. 20, for their 52nd Annual Awards Banquet.

The 52nd Annual Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet was held Saturday night, Feb. 20, at the Lighthouse Country Club Restaurant. Outstanding members and outgoing board members were honored from among businesses and community leaders in Burnet and Llano counties up and down the Highland Lakes.

HCCT holds open auditions for 'A Little Off the Top'

Hill Country Community Theatre has announced open auditions dates of Feb. 29 and March 1 for their April production of the comedy “A Little Off the Top” by Carl L. Williams.

The comedy involves two balding men, their love interests and a toupee salesman in a cast of seven chosen from 7 p.m. auditions at the theatre, 4003 West Ranch to Market Road 2147, Cottonwood Shores. Scoot your boots Feb. 20

Scoot your boots to the music of Les Hartman and his band and chow down at Boots & BBQ  Feb. 20 to benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Highland Lakes. It takes place at Marble Falls Lakeside Pavilion where barbecue is served 6:30-8 p.m. and the music goes on until 11:30 p.m.

'A Bench in the Sun,' a Ron Clark romantic comedy is a budget-wise Valentine performance by Hill Country Community Theater veterans.

A special Valentine's Day-only matinee performance of “A Bench in the Sun” is set for Sunday, Feb. 14, at 2:15 p.m. at Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 West Farm to Market Road 2147, Cottonwood Shores. The staged reading is offered as a pay-what-you-can (cash or check only) gift to theater lovers  from the Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 West Farm to Market road 2147 at Cottonwood Shores.
