Margaret Moore Ryan passed away Jan. 29, 2018, at the age of 108 in Spring, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald (Rex) Ryan, formerly of Burnet, Texas, and sister Marian Butts.

Margaret is survived by her daughters Dr. Charlton Ryan and husband Edwin A. Polt of Kenedy, Texas, and Pat Williams and husband Al Williams of Houston; eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.

Bennie Gale Thomlinson, 67, passed away at his home located near Spicewood, Texas, on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 with members of his family by his side. Bennie had been ill for a long time as a result of service in Vietnam and contact with Agent Orange.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Claudine Ann Thomlinson; his parents, Mr. Delbert Thomlinson and Mrs. Betty Thomlinson; two siblings: a brother, Tom Thomlinson; a sister, Delberta (Happi) Schulz; and also a granddaughter, Brittany Nichole Webb.

Georgia Foreman Meredith, from Tow, Texas, left this world peacefully, just before sunset on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.

Georgia was born April 6, 1945, in Guymond, Oklahoma, to George Burchard Foreman and Rosina Maria Archuletta. She relocated to southern California with her family as a young child, and it was here she formed memories of growing up in the 50s and early 60s, that she would speak of fondly from time to time for the rest of her life.

Frances was a dedicated wife and mother. She came to the Hill Country in 1944 as the Blanco County home demonstration agent at the time when electricity was just coming into the area. She was very proud of the work she did to educate the residents on how to use this new technology.

Charles Alvie Russworn passed away Jan. 15, 2018. He lived in Llano, Texas. Charles was born in Dickens, Texas, on Dec. 22, 1943, to Charles and Pearl Russworn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Geneice Morriss.

He is survived by three children, daughters Dolores Russworn of Round Rock, Texas, Connie Locklin of Austin, Texas, and son Chris Russworn; brother, Richard Russworn of Llano, Texas; sister Linda Young of Stockbridge, Georgia; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services.

Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 22, with services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Richard Dye, pastor of First Christian Church, Plainview, will be officiating. Interment to follow at Llano City Cemetery.

Dorothy Gregorczyk Offer, 88, died Jan. 20, 2018, after many years of living with Alzheimer’s. At the time of her death, she was residing at Orchard Park in Kyle, Texas, but she lived most of her adult life in the Marble Falls area. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Gregorczyk, who died in 1987, and her husband Edwin Offer, who died in 2015.
