Jeff Lavelle Brown, 94, died of natural causes on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2018, at the Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Lakeway Texas. Jeff leaves his wife of 73 years, Elizabeth Sue (Denson) Brown; his son, Bob Brown and his wife Vee Brown; son-in-law Ray Daily; and Jeff's grandchildren, Robert Matthew Brown and his wife Monica Brown, Kris and Jay Brown, Amanda Huerta, Angelica Covington and her husband Kevin Covington; and six great grandchildren, including Brad Oiler, Taylor Brown, Matthew James Modesto, Jacob and Maritza Covington, and Noa Brown; and many close friends.

Dorothy “Dottie” Peterson Seabaugh

March 28, 1931 — December 24, 2017

Dorothy Peterson Seabaugh was born Dorothy Lucille Peterson on March 28, 1931, in the village of Pleasant Hill in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. Dorothy, also known as “Dottie,” passed away peacefully in Marble Falls, Texas, on Dec. 24, 2017. She was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Seabaugh; husband Harold Seabaugh; parents Robert and Norma Peterson; and sister Peggy Nigerville. She is survived by her son Robert Seabaugh and his wife Liz; daughter Denise Kniffin and her husband Doug; daughter Kimberly Crisp; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Denver Franklin O’Neal Jr.

December 3, 1933 — January 1, 2018

Denver was born to Denver Franklin O'Neal Sr. and Ella Mae Weber O'Neal on Dec. 3, 1933, in Gonzales County, Texas. Named Denver Franklin O'Neal Jr., he was affectionately called "June" for the remainder of his life by close family members and many nieces and nephews. Denver went to his Lord, Jan. 1, 2018, at 84 years old, in Marble Falls, Texas, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

Jimmie D. Teague Jr.

October 10, 1924 — December 20, 2017

Jimmie D. Teague Jr. of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at the age of 93.

Jim was born to parents Jimmie D and Vannie M Teague on Oct. 10, 1924, in Daingerfield, Texas. After high school graduation he joined the Navy and served honorably in the Pacific during WWII. In 1945, he married his high school sweetheart, Nelda Josephine Justiss.

Robert Clifton Wattis

Robert Clifton Wattis, 52, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away Dec. 13, 2017, as a result of an automobile accident near Quitman, Texas. Robert was born Aug. 10, 1965, to Bette Kay and Edmund Orsen (E.O.) Wattis in Austin, Texas.

Lavada Jeanette Helton

Lavada Jeanette Helton, 82, of Marble Falls, passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017. She was born to the late William Cross Hogan and Bonnie Lee Houck on Jan. 15, 1935, in Wheeler, Texas.
Lavada was a proud 1953 graduate of Mobeetie High School, excelling in academics and basketball. Lavada's passions were her family, friends, and quilting as a member of the Marble Falls Quilting Club. She married Bobby King Helton on July 3, 1953, in Mobeetie, Texas.

Kathy Rose Ferrell

Kathy Rose Ferrell, 45, passed away on Dec. 17, 2017.

A Celebration of Kathy’s life is planned for Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 4613 TX-3, Dickinson.

Kathy was loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all of them.

James Randall Wylie

James Randall Wylie, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on Dec. 15, 2017. He was 79.

Jim was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 30, 1938, the only child of James Truett Wylie and Ruth Robertson Wylie.

Lyman Ray Savory

Lyman Savory, 79, of Marble Falls, Texas, went to be with his Lord on Nov. 17, 2017. He was born June 28, 1938, the son of Roger & Ruth Tinker Savory. He had been a resident in the Granite Mesa Nursing Facility in Marble Falls since a fall at home resulted in a broken hip. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janis Griffin Savory; two sons, Lynn Roger (Laure) and Douglas Edward (Susan); four grandchildren, Zachariah & Brianne of Texas, and Rebecca & Lucas of North Platte, Nebraska; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Gerald; and a sister, Lorraine.

H. Frank Miller

d. December 16, 2017

H. Frank Miller, 93, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at the Granite Mesa Health Center in Marble Falls. Frank is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty; son Gary Miller and his wife Tracy; grandsons Gray and Jaxson Miller.

Frank was a lifetime resident of Central Texas, living the last 34 years on Lake LBJ in the Shady Acres neighborhood near Granite Shoals, Texas.
