Paula Dianne Harris, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, 74, of Dayton, Texas (formerly of Kingsland, Texas) went to be with the Lord on Dec. 11, 2017 while doing what she loved.

Born in Dallas, Texas, on May 12, 1943, Paula lived a long and satisfying life surrounded by family and friends. She served her country as part of the U.S. Navy and then went on to serve and take care of her husband and family.

William Charlie Hicks

September 9, 1955 – December 5, 2017

William Charlie Hicks passed away Dec. 5, 2017, following a brief illness. Charlie was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and song leader. He was a committed Christian, a loving and devoted husband and father and a faithful friend.

Wallace Dale Bergman, 72, passed away peacefully Nov. 12, 2017, at The Oaks Nursing Home in Burnet. He was born March 31, 1945, in Blanco, Texas, to Herman Richard Bergman Jr. and Dorothy Wuneburger Bergman.

Dale grew up in Johnson City, Texas, before moving to Marble Falls in 1957. He graduated aalutatorian from Marble Falls High School in 1963.

Sally Sloan Nelson, 76, of Round Mountain, Texas, passed away on Nov. 26, 2017. She was born in Astoria, Oregon Nov. 15, 1941, to Gordon Wright Sloan and Geneve Floy Sloan.

George Selwyn Nash Jr.

George Selwyn Nash Jr., 89, of Meadowlakes, Texas, passed away on December 6, 2017. He was born to George Selwyn Sr. and Carrie Hampton Yetter Nash on December 26, 1927, in Hopewell, Virginia.

Vicki Marie Pratt Thompson

Vicki Marie Pratt Thompson, 70, of Kingsland, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017. She was born to Charles and Mildred Pratt on April 21, 1947, in Sedalia, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters, a niece and a son-in-law.

She is survived by her brother Pete and wife Cheryl Pratt of Austin; sister, Kathy Jackson of Kingsland; brother Greg Pratt of Kingsland; daughter, Dõna and husband Richard Gonzales of Kingsland; son Richard and wife Mary Pratt of Granite Shoals; daughter Lisa and husband Robert Collier of Converse; daughter Paula Winskey of Kingsland; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Carolina Virginia Graham

April 5, 1919 — December 5, 2017

Carolina Virginia Graham, 98, passed away on Dec. 5, 2017 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at Rolling Meadows Media Center, in Wichita Falls, Texas, officiated by Reggie Coe.

Graveside services will be held at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park at a later date.

Robert Clyde Johnson

March 8, 1936 — December 2, 2017

Robert Clyde Johnson, 81, of Bangs, Texas, passed away Dec. 2, 2017, and went on to his eternal reward. Memorial services will be held Dec. 12, 2017, at the Bangs Church of Christ at 1 p.m. Visitation to follow in the fellowship hall.

Robert was born March 8, 1936, in Quitman, Arkansas to Shelby Clyde Johnson and Eunice Jewell Wildman. He married Barbara Jean Bradford on April 9, 1960, in Woodland, California. They were blessed with 57 years together.

Ruth DeLane Warden Ruble

October 10, 1918 – November 21, 2017

Ruth DeLane Warden Ruble passed peacefully to be with the Lord on Nov. 21, 2017, at the age of 99. Ruth was born Oct. 10, 1918, in Bertram, Texas, to Mabel Ann Warden and Benjamin Franklin Warden Jr. She attended elementary and high school in Bertram, and attended Mary Hardin Baylor for a short time before marrying Henry Milton Ruble on July 18, 1942. She and Milton had two daughters, and she was always active in the Bertram community and in her church.

Ross Haywood Walker

February 6, 1930 — November 29, 2017

Ross Haywood Walker passed away November 29, 2017, in Fredericksburg, Texas, at the age of 87. Ross was born Feb. 6, 1930, to Ernest and Mattie Walker.

He was a Navy veteran of 20 years and was a mechanic in his civilian life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle, his parents, sisters Kathryn Walker, Tina Burnham and Virginia Kelly; and a brother, Warren Walker.
