Michael George Gardner

Michael George Gardner, 24, of Burnet, Texas passed away Sunday April 16, 2017. He was born to Timothy and Annette (Fortier) Gardner on October 4, 1992 in Denver, Colorado.

Michael loved people, he was always quick to shake a hand, hug a neck, and engage in conversation with his upbeat personality and infectious smile, he never met a stranger. Michael enjoyed a good party and was very creative, he liked drawing, painting, swimming, skateboarding, playing his guitar, and spending time with his friends and family.

Allen Francis Perry

Allen Francis Perry went to be with our Heavenly Father on April 13, 2017. He was born in Ohio and later moved to Arizona. He fought a long valiant fight with heart failure.

Allen loved telling jokes, sitting around the campfire and especially enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed camping, riding ATVs, fishing, shooting his guns at the range, and riding his motorcycle. He loved dogs and rescued many older and sick dogs to provide them with a loving home.

His favorite activity was meeting family and friends at Lake Alamo, Arizona to camp and ride his quad. He loved exploring the old mines and sharing this area with friends new to Lake Alamo.

He proudly served in the Navy as a radioman during two tours in Vietnam on The Parsons and The Blueridge.

He is survived by his wife Denise, his brother Duane (Beverly) and his daughter Autumn Perry.

He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Jesse “Troy” Henderson, born November 19, 1932, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven Wednesday, April 12. Troy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vivian “Myrtle” Henderson; daughter, Jeannie Minnick and husband, Paul Minnick; son-in-law Winfred Springer; grandchildren Cynthia Denno and husband Vernon Leger, Robert Springer, Brian Springer, Christopher Minnick and Amber Minnick; great-grandchildren Richard Denno, George Denno, Zach Springer and Kason Minnick.

Troy is predeceased in death by his parents, Carlie and Bessie Henderson; daughter Vivian Springer, Brothers, Sonny Henderson, Ray Gene Henderson, Sisters, Esther Mae Ainsworth, Euna Allen and Clara Bates.

Dolores G. Fierro, went home to our Lord on Wednesday, April 12.

Born on February 22, 1936 in Luling.

She lived in San Antonio until 1974 when she moved to Marble Falls.

She was our beloved mother and grandmother.

She is preceeded in death by her husband; Teodoro M. Llanas and her son; Arnulfo Llanas.

She is survived by her children; Juanita L. Ritz, Teodoro Jr. and Emma Llanas, Rodolfo Llanas, Joan L. and Raymond Salazar and Diana Llanas.

William C. “Bill” Bedortha, age 76 of Horseshoe Bay, formerly of Austin, surrounded and supported by his loving family that he cherished so much, passed from this life to the next on Tuesday, April 11th, during Holy Week.

Bill got to celebrate his own Easter just a little early.

Bill is survived by his lifelong love and wife of almost 54 years, Mary Kay; and his five children and their spouses, Bill Bedortha ( Kate), Jay Bedortha (Ann), Molly Copa (Tom), Katie Robertson (James) and Christian Bedortha (Wendy) as well as his treasured grandchildren; Shannon, Liam and Jack Bedortha, Dylan James, Elizabeth, John, Joseph and Sarah Bedortha, Charlie, Sam, Will, Mary Grace and Lucy Copa, Mickey, Owen, Colin and Zach Platz, and Chase and Barrett Bedortha.

He is also survived by his sister; Joan Anonick (Al) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

William Taylor (Spike) Dykes, 79, died at his home Monday, April 10, after battling health issues for the past year.

He coached high school and college football for ve decades and left a lasting impression everywhere he went.

Born March 14, 1938, in Lubbock, his family travelled the Panhandle beforesettlinginBallinger,wherehe became an All-State center.

He played brie y at Rice (“they didn’t offer me the academic challenges I was seeking”) before transferring to S.F. Austin and graduating in 1959.

Billy Eugene Saxon, 83, passed quietly at home on Monday, April 10.

Bill was born in Taylor, on February 1, 1934 to parents Leonard Carey Saxon and Mildred Jane Trump Saxon.

He was raised in Austin and graduated from Luling High School in 1952.

He proudly served in the Army in the Korean War.

After the war, he returned to work in South Texas as a young man.

It was there he met the love of his life, Mary.

Curtis Neeley was escorted to Paradise by his Angel on Friday, April 7.

His beloved wife, Linda, was by his side.

Curtis was born December 13, 1936, in Rotan, and raised in Miles and San Angelo.

He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in accounting, and was a CPA most of his adult life.

He worked in Houston, El Paso, and Midland before he and Linda moved to Horseshoe Bay in 1993.

Nitajean (Nita) Cunningham, age 77 of Kingsland, joined her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 9th, surrounded by family, holding her husband’s hand of 58 years.

She was born June 9th, 1939 in Atlanta to Charles Lonzo Ashby and Juanita O’Rear Ashby and was the oldest of five children.

Nita is survived by her loving husband, Rudy Cunningham; son Ron Cunningham; daughter in law Carol Cunningham; granddaughter Kathryn Cunningham; sisters Maxine Holdridge and Diane Ashby; brother Charles Ashby and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
