Storms expected Wednesday afternoon

Meteorologists expect more storm activity is along the I-35 corridor on Wednesday afternoon.
The national weather service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Burnet, Llano, Blanco, Travis, Williamson and surrounding counties, and dispatch communications reported a tornado touched down in Blanco near the 6700 block of US 281 at about 12:30 p.m.
The outlook stated that “river flooding will continue today and tonight.scattered showers and thunderstorms could briefly become strong to severe this afternoon across the Hill Country, producing large hail and damaging wind gusts. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.”
The outlook added these storms will be capable of producing one to three inches of rain, resulting in potential flash flooding.
Blanco County has already received between six and 10 inches of rainfall in the past four days.
