Henrietta Herrington Frasier Lewis
March 15, 1933 - June 10, 2015

The world lost a sweet soul on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 when Henrietta Lewis took her final breath and passed painlessly through Heaven's gate.

She was born Henrietta Marie Herrington on March 15, 1933, the only daughter of Emeral and Helen Herrington, in Marble Falls.

Henri developed a strong will and determined mindset; probably from being the only sister of six brothers:  Leroy, William, Raymond, Audie, August, and Joe.

As each brother married, she enjoyed loving relationships with Ione, Zelda, Clarice, Jan, and Irene.
Henri found true love at the young age of 18 and married Malcolm Frasier in 1951.

Together they had sons, Malcolm and Michael, and daughter, Cynthia.

Sadly, Malcolm's life was cut short when he lost his battle with cancer in 1969.

Henri's faith and inner strength made it possible to maintain her sanity through those solo teenage years as she guided her children into adulthood.

Ray and his partner Loraine Goode live in Belton.

Mike and his wife Pam live in Longview, Texas.  Cindy lives in Waco.

Henri's children blessed her with four grandchildren, Kemberly, Ian, Kevin and Katie.
Henri found love again with Wayne Lewis.

They married in 1981 and celebrated 27 happy years together.

She loved Wayne's four children, Harold, Alice, David and Daniel as her own and was blessed with more grandchildren and in-laws.

Together, Henri and Wayne proved that "family" is defined more by love than blood.

Many of their happiest memories were made with family, especially grandchildren, and traveling the United States and Canada.

Wayne also lost a battle with cancer in 2008.
Henri went to live with her grandson, Kevin, his wife Deena, and great-grandchildren, William and Colleen, in West Columbia.

She happily spent time at the Little League fields as founding member of the William Patrick fan club, and enjoyed being Colleen's number one fan at Cheer events.

She went to every dance competition, and learned a thing or two about clogging as both kids showed off their double-steps, rock-steps, and windmills.

Henri checked her email and Facebook page frequently to keep up with her other great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Ashlyn, Aubrey, and Charlie.

She loved to show anyone who would look the latest Facebook posts.

In her final days, Henri enjoyed the makeovers given to her by Colleen, the conversations she had with Will, and visits from family.
Henri's children and grandchildren, wish to thank Kevin and Deena for all they did for her over the past several years.

They opened their home and welcomed her with loving arms.

Deena was Henri's primary caregiver, unselfishly making Henri's care her priority as Henri's health deteriorated.

Deena and Kevin went above and beyond to make sure Henri received the best care available.  Allowing her to share their daily lives gave "Amma" great happiness in her final years.

To say the world lost a sweet soul seems such an understatement.

We lost a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, friend, and champion of all she loved.

She loved us fiercely and unconditionally.

While we will miss her sweet smile, we find comfort in knowing she is with all those she loved who passed before her, but most importantly, she is in the presence of her heavenly Father.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to:  Team Alta Patterson (in memory of Henrietta Lewis), National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 2501 Oak Lawn Avenue, Suite 435, Dallas, Texas 75219.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Henrietta's life, and join us for lunch, on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Marble Falls Senior Center at 11:30 a.m.

The family will privately leave Henrietta's remains in the same city in which she entered this world but we will each keep a piece of her in our hearts forever.
