Rebecca “Becky” Sue Collins Ray passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, surrounded by her family. 

Becky was born on March 4, 1947. She grew up in Belton, Texas, and graduated from Belton High School in 1965.

She married Jerry Ray on Nov. 9, 1990.

After living in Corpus Christi and Wintersprings, Florida, they retired in Granite Shoals.

Becky was preceded in death by: her father, Melvin Collins; her mother, Johnnie Collins, and brother, Charles Collins.

She is survived by: her husband of 24 years, Jerry Ray; children, Melissa Hill and husband, Scott, Kenneth Love and wife, Regay; sister and brother-in-law Fran and Hugh Hall; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sybil Collins; sister-in-law, Sandy Collins; step-daughter, Suzanne Ort and husband, Phil, and step-son, Charles Ray. 

She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at 1 p.m. at her home in Granite Shoals.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
