Quilt show coming up in Kingsland
Organizers of the 9th Annual Kingsland Quilt Show are seeking participants to enter their quilted creations in the show to be held Friday and Saturday, Jan. 15-16, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Kingsland Convention/Community Center.
“We want everyone to come see the creative talents of quilt, sewing and needle art makers in our area,” said organizer Barbara Greenawalt.
Anyone is welcome to enter their quilts – new or old – in the show.

Greenawalt will be telling “Family Quilt Stories” at 10 a.m. both Friday and Saturday. Also present at the show will be “The Scissor Guy” to show scissor and knife sharpening techniques and a dealer from Janome Sewing Machines to demonstrate and sell machines.

Admission will be $5 per person. At the event will be a drawing for gift baskets and a Janome Sewing Machine. Proceeds will go to the Kingsland Convention/Community Center.
