Get ready for early voting starting Tuesday

Burnet County residents will be offered the convenience of early, in-person voting for their favorite candidates starting this coming Tuesday, Feb. 16, and running through Friday, Feb. 26, ahead of the March 1 primary election. In addition to national races, to be decided on this ballot are a number of locally-contested races, including that to seat a new sheriff, county commissioners, constables and justices of the peace.

Any registered voter in Burnet County may vote in person at either the Burnet County Courthouse annex in Marble Falls or the Burnet County Courthouse in Burnet.

Generally, Burnet County conducts early voting at the first floor courtroom in the main Courthouse, 220 South Pierce Street in Burnet and in the courtroom at the Marble Falls Courthouse Annex, 810 Steve Hawkins Parkway, in Marble Falls.

Burnet County registered voters may vote early at either location, regardless of where they would vote on Election Day.

Early voting polls are open each weekday, and, depending on the election, may be open for extended hours on two weekdays or for a few hours on one Saturday during the early voting period.
