Hill Country Humane Society offering low cost services, vaccinations Saturday

On Saturday, April 2 (9 a.m.-noon), the Hill Country Humane Society will be offering a Low Cost Vaccination Clinic thanks to Dr. Jim Jenkins of the Cedar Hills Vet Clinic in Llano. Dr. Jenkins will be donating a portion of his proceeds to help the animals of HCHS.

The Hill Country Humane Society shelter located at 9150 RR 1431 West, Buchanan Dam. Donations are always welcome.

Vaccination prices:

Rabies: $10 (3yr)   

Distemper/Parvo/Adenovirus/Bordetella: $25 (canine, save $5)

Flu H3N2 strain: $25 (canine only)

Rattlesnake: $25 (canine only)

FVRCP: $15 (feline, save $2)

FeLvK: $20 (feline, save $2)

Various flea products will be available for purchase.

Hill Country Humane Society staff will be providing the following services:

Microchipping: $25 for one pet (dog or cat), $20 each for more than one pet. (Microchips are pre-registered and the HCHS will handle mailings.)

Manicure/Pedicure: $5
