Deanna Dorchester Bradshaw of Marble Falls, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her residence.
Deanna was born on May 26, 1941 in Galveston, Texas to Ernest Dean Dorchester, Jr. and Julia Frances (Ebeling) Dorchester.
Deanna graduated from Ball High School in Galveston, Texas, class of 1959.
She graduated from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas with a B.A. degree in English, in 1963.
Deanna wed Edward William Bradshaw, Jr. at Central Methodist Church in Galveston, Texas on June 29, 1963.
Deanna was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at The University of Texas.
She was a past member of The Junior League of Galveston County, The Garden Club of Dickinson and Friends of the Library in Dickinson.
She is a member of the PEO Sisterhood in Marble Falls, Texas, Trinity Episcopal Church in Marble Falls, Texas and Daughters of the King at Trinity Episcopal Church in Marble Falls, Texas.
Deanna’s many hobbies included playing the piano, reading and traveling.
Deanna is survived by her son Edward William Bradshaw, III and his wife, Reene Bradshaw; two grandsons, Edward William Bradshaw IV and Jason Dean Bradshaw of Dickinson, Texas; sister Mary Helen Harris and husband, Dr. Max Y. Harris of Harlingen, Texas; niece, Mary Catherine McConnell and husband, Michael McConnell of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and her nephew, Max Y. Harris, Jr. of Marble Falls, Texas.
Anchor Deanna is also survived by sisters-in-law Lois Ann Titus of League City, Texas and Helen Beatrice Battistoni and husband, James R. Battistoni of Dallas, Texas; nieces Laura Ludington Moeller and her husband, Dave Moeller, of Ackworth, Georgia and Bea Ludington Davies and her husband, Dr. Mike Davies of Houston, Texas; nephew Jason D. Battistoni and his wife, Alysia Battistoni of Bulverde, Texas as well as numerous other loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 909 Avenue D, Marble Falls, Texas.
