Kenneth “Honeyman” Snider passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at age 70.

Ken was born on Sept. 18, 1945 to Celina (Gildersleeve) and George Snider.

Celebration of Life ceremony for Ken will be held at Forno’s Waterfront Bar and Grill on Lake LBJ on Saturday, June 18, beginning at 1 p.m.

A Celebration of Life ceremony is also being planned in the Alton, Illinois area where he was from, details to be announced at a later date.

Ken graduated high school in 1963 from Woodriver High School in Illinois.

He was also a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in Accounting.

Ken retired in 2000.

Ken had an engaging personality and was always the life of the party taking over the dance floor.

He spent most of his time on the golf course, working in his yard, trying new recipes, and his latest hobby, brewing and drinking his own beer.

Ken is survived by his wife Sue of Marble Falls.

He leaves behind children Valerie and Darrin Snider; granddaughter, Courtney; sister; Renee Augenstein and her children Dustin and Paige and his sister; Michelle Morfesi and her children Alexis and Blake.

He is also survived by his step-son Ken Key and his children Melissa and Jon; step-son Kelly Key and his children Makenna and Brooklynn; brother-in-law Ernest Kutscherousky and wife Sharon.

Ken was also a great-grandfather to Braxton and Colt.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Susie, brother-in-law, Charlie and sister-in-law, Ginger.
