Wig B. DeMoville, age 73, passed away at his home in Kingsland Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
He was born June 2, 1942, in Gatesville to William Beville DeMoville and Sara Wiggins DeMoville.
Wig earned his PhD in accounting from Texas Tech University and taught accounting at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Texas Tech University at Lubbock, Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas A&M University at Laredo and the University of Texas Pan American where he retired.
He was married to Gail King May 26, 1962, in San Angelo.
Wig was a member of the Bah`a’i Faith.
Wig is survived by his wife Dianna Gail of Kingsland; son William B. DeMoville and daughter-in-law Ceci DeMoville of Austin; daughter Katherine Diane DeMoville of Round Rock; grandson William Brent DeMoville and granddaughter Gianna DeMoville, both of Austin and brother Brent Demoville and sister-in-law Dianne Brinkley DeMoville of Waco.
Also surviving are brother-in-law Rick King and sister-in-law Karen Drew King of North Pole, Alaska and numerous other family members.
Wig was preceded in death by his parents Bevie and Sara.
A graveside service and burial was held Friday, June 3, 2016, in Llano County at Bluffton Cemetery.
