Joel Dee Houston (Cotton) passed away in Marble Falls on Thursday, June 16, 2016.
He was born on Feb. 27, 1935 in Levelland, Texas to Robert Lee Houston and Lydia Leona Gaither.
Joel was proceeded in death by his wife of 51 years Bessie Mae Houston and his son Jay Houston.
He is survived by his daughter Tonya Houston; grandchildren Michael Bloom, Cutter Schaney, Cory Houston and Haley Houston; great-grandchildren Rian Jo Bloom and Maverik Bloom and brother Robert Houston.
A memorial for Joel will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2702 Mormon Mill Road, Marble Falls, Texas, 78654.
