Thomas Wesley “Tom” Langley, 80, of Kingsland, Texas passed away on July 3, 2016.  He was born to Albert and Anna (Mole) Langley on June 11, 1936 in Taft, Florida.
Tom proudly served the United States of America in the Air Force from 1954 to 1958.  He graduated from Embry-Riddle University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Tom began his career with Experiment Incorporated in Richmond, Virginia conducting research in solid rocket fuels. He retired from Texaco having worked for Texas-New Mexico Pipeline Inc. He will be remembered for his big hugs and smiles.  He provided abundant love and guidance to his family and was a father figure to many. Tom shared his love for camping, boating, and fishing with his children. He was commonly referred to as “Dad”, “Grampy”, and “Big T”.  He attended Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church in Port Aransas, Texas as well as Epiphany Episcopal Church in Burnet, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Diane Langley;  daughter, Susan Motycka and her husband Frank;  son, Thomas Langley II and his wife Lucinda, and daughter: Elizabeth Collins and her husband, Kerwin, seven grandchildren;  Rebecca, Kaitlyn, Laura, Trisha, Madison, Connor and Blake; two great grandchildren;  Henry and Lydia;  brother, Donald Langley and his wife Susan and sister, Lynda Wilson.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents and sister Anna Belle Cake.
Interment will take place at Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church in Port Aransas, Texas.
Memorials may be given in Tom’s name to Epiphany Episcopal Church in Burnet, Texas or Trinity by the Sea in Port Aransas, Texas.
