Rynda Lere´ Brown

1962 ~ 2016

Rynda Lere’ Brown, loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother, passed away in the loving arms of her husband on September 26, 2016 at the too young age of 54 after a courageous and hard fought battle with myelofibrosis and leukemia.

She is sitting next to her Daddy listening to him play his fiddle and already redecorating Heaven while fixing everyone’s hair getting ready for some sort of celebration, we’re sure. Rynda was born a twin September 7, 1962 in Big Springs, Texas, to Joe “Red” Herman Hayes and Shirley Laverne Mann. Rynda’s first priority and pride in life was in raising her two daughters, Candice and Lindsey. She was a driven and successful businesswoman who made sure her daughters know how to walk in her footsteps with grace and elegance and knowing how to be independent and considerate contributors to the society they were in. Rynda made a living by taking the simple trade of hairdressing and transforming it into a prestigious and creative career that allowed her to do what she loves doing best by making others feel beautiful, cherished, and pampered. When her girls were raised, Rynda met the love of her life and best friend Bill. She said her life started when she met Bill. He was her “happy”. She was able to delve into the true passions of her heart which were gourmet cooking, interior decorating and entertaining those that held a special place in her heart alongside her best friend, Bill. Rynda found peace, comfort, contentment, joy, and solitude in her life with Bill and very special puppy Jemma in Utah and she lived every day to its fullest potential. She got to experience parts of this world she had never seen from the back of their Harley Davidson.

Rynda was the type of person who made you feel special and loved from the moment she came into your life. She was a selfless giver who enjoyed being able to shower gifts of love upon others. Rynda loved and relished in the times that she spent with her grandchildren. She truly strived to ensure that each one had special moments spent with her that were unique to their individual interests.

Rynda was creative and insightful. She was full of advice and adventure. She was a huge advocate of manners and behavior. They say “pick your battles” well... not for her! Every opportunity was a time taken to teach and impart wisdom and grace. Rynda will leave a void in many hearts and lives. She is an irreplaceable soul that was full of vivaciousness, class, and wit.

Rynda is survived by her husband Bill, daughters Candice & Lindsey (Chance), mother Shirley, sisters Sherry, Peggy (Blake) & twin sister Lynda, brother Jerry (Susie), grandchildren Kailey, Braxton & Caroline (with another on the way) and many, many other family members and countless friends. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 1st at 2 PM, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy. In lieu of flowers, please plant a lily (Rynda’s favorite) so it will grow year after year and remind us of the amazing soul we have lost, but Heaven has gained. For those with a motorcycle and weather permitting, Rynda would love to see as many bikes in the parking lot as possible and dressed for the ride. See all y’all again someday!
