Seguin speed too much for Mustangs
Marble Falls was held to 80 yards on 30 carries Friday night.

Marble Falls and Seguin came into their game Friday night with just three wins between them.
They had a lot of fireworks for two teams that are now both 2-5 on the season.
Seguin finished with 565 yards and Marble Falls 491 yards in the shootout at Matador Stadium.
The Matadors blew it open in the second half and finished off a 66-21 victory in District 26-5A play.
The senior duo of quarterback Mark Garcia and 6-foot-4 receiver Jay Sayles put on a showcase in the passing game.
Garcia was 18 of 21 passing for 271 yards and four touchdowns. Sayles caught nine passes for 186 yards and scored on four touchdown passes.
Junior running back Brandon Palomares threw a 60-yard halfback pass to Sayles for another score in the explosive second quarter.
In all, Seguin threw six touchdown passes in the game while the Marble Falls Mustangs had a pair of passing throws from Andrew Stripling to Brock Linder.
Seguin built an early 21-0 lead in the first quarter, scoring on its first three possessions. The Matadors had a 43-yard carry on his first touch on the third play of the game.
Seguin needed just six plays to cover 76 yards for the first score, an 11-yard strike to Sayles.
After a blocked punt, Seguin went 49 yards in three plays for the second score, a 27-yard sprint by Palomares down the right sideline.
Seguin got the ball back again with 2:22 left in the first quarter. Palomares took off around end before raising up fire a perfect strike to Sayles streaking behind the Mustangs defense.
Marble Falls woke up in the second quarter and climbed back in the game with Stripling getting time to fire deep passes. He hit Linder on a pair of long throws and Cooper Wilson scored on a 3-yard run to rally Marble Falls to within a touchdown at 28-21.
The game got sloppy right before half with penalties on both teams and the Mustangs had a late drive stalled.
Seguin roared out in the second half and scored 24 points in the third quarter.
Seguin had 31 unanswered points in the second half to seal the Matadors first victory since Week One.
