Madalyn Snider

Madalyn Snider passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at the age of 83. She was born on April 21, 1933, to Chandace Guess and Aileen Westfall in Joplin, Missouri. The railroad business took her family to the great state of Texas.

She was a graduate of Big Spring High School. In February, 1952 she married the love of her life; T. R. Snider. They had three children. Madalyn worked at car dealerships in Lubbock, Corpus Christi and San Antonio where she was the office manager. Her highest priority was always her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Doris Patterson of California. She is survived by husband of 65 years, T.R. Snider; her children, Thomas Snider and his wife Brenda from Boerne; her daughter Cathy Schwerman and husband Mike of Houston; daughter Cindi Ware and husband Ricci of San Antonio; her brother, Loren Guess of Midland; five grandchildren, Miranda, Kendall, Nicci, Tripp, and Trace; six great-grandchildren, Trenton, Cole, Taylor, Skye, Harper, and Isaiah.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist of Boerne with visitation one hour prior to the service.
