Daniel J. Hunick

Daniel J. Hunick entered into rest on Wednesday, March 22.

Born March 22, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, He overcame many obstacles in his life, including suffering polio at a young age.

Daniel was adopted in his youth, and raised in San Antonio, graduating from McArthur High School in 1960.

He worked for over 36 years at City Public Service making many friends along the way.

Daniel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and served in many callings over the years.

He especially loved singing in the choir.

Dan moved to Meadowlakes in 2006 to enjoy small town living and pursue his passion for fishing.

Daniel is preceeded in death by his parents; Oscar and Aurora Hunick and brother James Hunick of San Antonio.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deborah Hunick, his children; Madison Hunick and Christian Hunick, and step-daughters Robin Delourdes, Jessica Gonzalez, and Kimberley Pierce as well as grandchildren and other siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 14 at 6 p.m., located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 200 Via Viejo, Marble Falls.
