Fay Salem passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

She was born Alice Fay Brantley on May 25, 1933, in Phenix City, Alabama, to the late Hazel and Frank Brantley.

She was married to John P. Salem Jr. and the couple recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on Feb. 14.

The couple lived in Marble Falls for 40 years.

Prior to Marble Falls they lived in Port Arthur.

She was a graduate of Central High School of Phenix City.

She was a devoted Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church of Marble Falls.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Throughout her life she has been a faithful servant in many church and civic organizations where she has made wonderful friends and been a joy to all.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband and her five children three sons and two daughters and their families: Tommy Salem, Marble Falls, his wife, Patti, Rick Salem, Burnet, and wife Pat, Susan Judice, Kingsland, and husband, Kevin, Wayne Salem, Spicewood, and wife Julie, Kay Osbourn, Llano, and husband Jamie.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her identical twin Maye Davis of Daytona Beach and her brother, Bill Brantley of Sarasota, Florida.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 11 at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home Marble Falls,1805 US Highway 281 Marble Falls.

The service will be held on Monday, June 12 at 2 p.m. located at the First Baptist Church in Marble Falls, 901 La Ventana Dr. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, the Rotary Foundation or a charity of choice.
