Kayci Lindig Sprouse, “KK”, lost her battle to Breast Cancer at the age of 35 in St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, TX on July 14, 2017. She was born August 7, 1981 in Fredericksburg, TX to Bill and Peggy Lindig of Johnson City, TX.

Kayci graduated from LBJ High School of Johnson City, TX in 1999. She then attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy in 2003. Her dream was to follow in her mom’s footsteps and be a hairdresser. She did just that! She built up her clientele at Salons in Marble Falls, but just recently opened her own Salon in Johnson City. Combined, she worked hard for over 10 years doing what she loved. She was passionate about making her clients feel and look beautiful, just as Kayci was inside and out.

She is survived by her loving husband Donnie Sprouse and their two children, Cody and Cross Sprouse, of Johnson City; her parents, Bill and Peggy Lindig of Johnson City; sister, Kayla Gale, husband Michael their two kids, Grant and Grayci Gale of Johnson City; and her grandmother, Rita Pahl (Oma) of Fredericksburg, Texas.

Kayci was so passionate about her family. She was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mom, Aunt KK, and a best friend. She was loved by countless friends and family. She will be forever missed!

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Johnson City H.O.M.E. Church, 405 U.S. Hwy 281, Johnson City, TX 78636. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM that evening also at the church.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 W. San Antonio St., Fredericksburg, TX 78624. Rite of committal will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fredericksburg. Rev. John Nolan serving as celebrant.
