Thomas Franklin Ryan passed away Nov. 5, 2017. He was born Dec. 14, 1939, in Groveton, Texas, to Ernest Franklin Ryan and Pauline Sistki Ryan.

He graduated from Spring Branch High School and attended college at The University of Texas. He graduated from South Texas College of Law and passed the bar exam in 1967. He had a law practice in Horseshoe Bay.

Tom loved his family, watching football and Thursday night gambling with some of his closest friends.

Tom is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherry Young Ryan; children, Keith Ryan and wife Peggy, Shelley Ryan, Brett Ryan and wife Kimberly, Leslie Comstock and husband Cory; grandchildren, Logan and Megan Ryan, Kinsey Entrekin, Shane Comstock and wife Madelyn, Hunter Comstock and Dyllan Comstock. He is also survived by great grandsons Connor and Roland Comstock; and a sister, Peggy Ryan Hicks; as well as many other family members and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jeff Beheler.

Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 9, at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home.

Funeral service was held Friday, Nov. 10, at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home, with interment at Fall Creek Cemetery.
