Neva DeSpain Padgett

Neva DeSpain Padgett of Hayward, California, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018. Neva was born to Raymond and Ada DeSpain in Spicewood, Texas, on Feb. 26, 1939. She and her children moved to California in 1971, but always enjoyed her trips back to the Texas Hill Country.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents; children, Stanley, Steve and Lisa Padgett; and sister, Wilma Swann. She is survived by longtime companion Brian Newton; daughter Zena Lyth and husband John; grandchildren, Alee and Olivia Lyth; sisters, Nelda Fry and Virginia Ray; brother-in-law R. E. Swann; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Interment was in California.
