Grace Rains
March 1, 1928 — February 24, 2018
Grace Rains, born March 1, 1928, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 24, 2018, just six days before her 90th birthday. Grace and her husband, Claude, were longtime residents of the community, as well as members of Marble Falls First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Lavon Rains; her brother, Hugh Young; and her stepson, Cody Rains. Survivors include step daughters Melody Jay, Candy Collins, and Bonni Rains; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 3, at 3 p.m. at Mission Burial Park South, 1700 S.E. Military Drive, San Antonio, where she will rest in peace alongside her husband.
