Christopher Michael Booth, 42, of Kingsland, Texas left the binds of earth for his heavenly home, March 20, 2018. He was born to Christopher Alan and Nita (Proctor) Booth on Sept. 17, 1975, in San Antonio, Texas.
Chris was a member of the Highland Lake Wranglers Special Olympic team, he competed in bowling and swimming, he was awarded many medals and trophies for his competitive ability. He enjoyed reading, collecting Christian music CDs, and collecting National Geographic magazines.
He is survived by his mother, Nita Burton and husband James of Kingsland, Texas; siblings, Robert Burton and wife Janean, of Kingsland, Texas, Teri Hobbs and husband Randy of Abilene, Texas, Jaclyn Decker and husband Chris, of Marble Falls, Texas, and Jenna Sivells and husband Seth of Kingsland, Texas; grandmother, Beverly Rosel of San Antonio, Texas; aunts and uncles, Sheri Trendelman and husband Mark, Jan Robinson and husband Aaron, Rudi Rosel, Cathy Aucoin, Chuck Booth, Curtis Booth, Cindy Gatlin and husband Luke, Elizabeth Webb, Terri Shaffer, Michael Booth and wife Sherry, Lawrence Booth and partner Michael, and Janet Booth. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends also survive.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandfather, Otto Booth; grandmother, Mary Booth; and his father, Christopher Booth.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, March 24, at Packsaddle Fellowship Church in Kingsland, Texas. An online guest register may be signed at PutnamCares.com.
The family has requested that memorials be made to Oak Haven Ministries for the Highland Lake Wranglers, 1218 CR 132, Kingsland, TX 78639, benefiting Special Olympics and other special needs citizens, or Lake Area Meals on Wheels, 200 Windwood Dr., Kingsland, TX 78639.
