Tammye Lew Shipp, 59 of Lometa, Texas, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at her home.
She was born March 6, 1959, in San Saba, Texas, to Lewis C. Waldon and Betty J. (McLeod) Waldon. Tammye grew up in Pontotoc and graduated from Mason High School. She later earned her nursing degree from Howard College in Brownwood. She served as director of nurses at Hill Country Memorial Surgery Center in Marble Falls for 12 years. Tammye was very caring and generous. She loved to shop and hunt, especially mule deer. She was a member of Lometa Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Shipp; two sons, Coby Pimm and T J Shipp; three daughters, Jacy Roemer, Stephanie Watson and Miranda Tankersley; and a brother, Frankie Crouch. Numerous grandchildren and a great-grandchild also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jimmy Yarbrough; and by father-in-law, Al Shipp.

Funeral service was held Saturday, June 23, at Lometa Church of Christ. Burial followed in Senterfitt Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday, June 22, at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
