Dr. Janusz “John” Garwacki

January 14, 1927 — July 28, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. John Garwacki announce his passing on Friday, July 28, 2018, at the age of 91. He will be remembered by his daughter, Kristina, her husband, Noah, and their daughters, Kyle and Ashley, as well as two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Elias.

Born in 1927 in Warsaw, Poland, Dr. Garwacki faithfully served the Burnet community for 30 years as a doctor and will be remembered for his commitment to serving the people of Burnet. Those who desire to may make memorial donations can do so to Doctors Without Borders or the Hill Country Humane Society.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Aug. 10, at Seton Highland Lakes Hospital at 5:30 p.m.
