Pavers continue work on a $4.8 million dollar street project that began this spring in Llano, with the hope of being finished before the end of the year.
All of Llano’s streets will have some work being done on them, said City Manager Scott Edmonson.
Edmonson said the contract is part of a larger bond election approved by voters in May of last year. The paving portion of the election bonds went to Cox Paving Company of Blanco.
Edmonson said Llano drivers should be aware that the project is under way, and said the city appreciates their cooperation.
“While there may be some inconvenience at times, this will result in much better streets for Llano,” he said.
