Mason Jeremiah Heimer, 22, of Spring Branch, Texas, passed away Sept. 22, 2018, in Fairbanks, Alaska. The family will receive guests for a time of visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Honey Creek on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 9 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 9:30 a.m., the funeral Mass at 10 a.m., and committal at 11 a.m.

Mason was born on Sept. 26, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas. He was a graduate of Smithson Valley High School and was an active duty member the United States Army.

Mason was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and camping, as well as skateboarding and spending as much time in nature as he could. As a brother to his eight siblings, Mason spent as much time as possible with his family as well. His great sense of humor and infectious laugh made all of us happy!

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Angela Heimer and Tammy Fowler; his siblings, Kaylor Fowler, Kaytlee Heimer, Brendan Heimer, Emma Heimer, Natalie Heimer, Juliana Heimer, Luke Heimer, and Cecilia Heimer; and his grandparents Laura Kay and Bill Miller, Robert Meshew, Louis and Diana Heimer, and Steve and Brenda Tindall.

The family would like to thank everyone who have prayed for us and Mason at this difficult time — it has strengthened us more than you know.

Instead of floral remembrances, we suggest that you carefully consider what you would spend on flowers and instead spend that on a family night with your family and loved ones.
