Barry Eugene Haffelder, 80, of Meadowlakes, Texas, passed away Dec. 1, 2018. He was the son of the late Alford and Doris Marie Haffelder of Austin, Texas.

He graduated from Travis High School in 1956. He spent six years in the Army Reserve. He joined State Farm Insurance as an agent in 1970 and retired to Lake Buchanan in 1995.

Being a top producer, he and his wife Kitty traveled extensively with their State Farm family. He loved his job helping his clients. Barry loved fishing, hunting, and golf. He also loved his church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn Ann Haffelder; his daughters, Connie and husband Kevin Mottle of Marble Falls, Texas, and Jennifer Menoskey of Cedar Park, Texas; and precious grandchildren, Austin Cartwright, Justin Mottle and Ayden Menoskey.

He also leaves a brother, Alfred Haffelder and wife Patti of Dripping Springs, Texas, as well as a niece, Rhonda, and nephew, Tony, along with many cousins, dear friends and their families.

Barry will always be remembered for his deep love of God and family, sense of humor and storytelling. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 US 281 North, Marble Falls.

Memorial Service will be Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at Lakeland Hills, 4219 Park Road 4, Marble Falls, Texas.
