George Leon Haynes, son of the late W.C. Haynes and Alberta Moseley, was called by his maker on May 31, 2019 at the age of 82.
He was a retired rancher and professional Rodeo Cowboy. He and his wife Peggy lived on the ranch in Round Mountain up until his health called for a move to San Saba, Texas.
He was the father of three children, Cody Haynes of Johnson City, Lance Haynes of Sonora and Stacie Haynes of San Saba, six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Johnson City Fairground.
