Albert Wayne Jowers, age 75, passed away on Sept. 11, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born on Aug. 15, 1944 in Seguin, Texas to Roxie Lee (Hitchcock) and Melvin Clinton Jowers.

Wayne proudly served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1968 before his final station in Saigon, Vietnam. 

He was a constant source of love, generosity, strength, humor and guidance to his family and friends over the years.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Melvin Jowers. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Jowers; children, Brian Jowers, Lori Jowers, Robert Jowers, Allen Jowers, Raymond Jowers, Susie Jowers, Jessica Bryan, Abby Brayfield; numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Christine DeSpain and brothers, James and Johnny Jowers; as well as many other loved ones and friends that will miss him dearly. 

The Jowers family would like to thank Wayne’s best friends, Glendon and Kathy Barrow, along with Austin Engineering for the gracious donation towards the final arrangements.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 in Liberty Hill Cemetery, 16101 W Hwy 29, Liberty Hall, Texas 78642. Those wishing to post tributes and memories to the family may do so at eickenhorstfuneral.com
