The Highland Lakes Honor Guard posts the colors at the annual Granite Shoals Veterans Celebration Saturday, Nov. 4. As the Hill Country continues to all U.S. Military service personnel on Veterans Day this coming Saturday, Nov. 11. Rep. Roger Williams is asking constituents to share their stories.

U.S. Congressman Roger Williams (R – Austin), who represents Fort Hood, one of the largest United States military installations in the world, announced he will be sharing the stories of veterans located throughout the 25th Congressional District of Texas on his Congressional website throughout the month of November in honor of Veterans Day.

The 25th District of Texas is home to Fort Hood, as well as thousands of brave veterans,” Williams said. “Our district is made up of so many American heroes who have put their lives on the line for this nation, and as the Congressional representative of a proud military community, each and every veteran holds a special place in my heart.
