'Dial M for Murder' continues run

The villainous Captain Lesgate (played by Guy Gober) attacks Margot Wendice (played by Alexandria Randolph) in 'Dial M for Murder.'

The Hill Country Community Theater production of the classic thriller “Dial M for Murder” through March 6.
Frederick Knott’s story of dark betrayal is performed by a cast of seven under the direction of Mike Rademaekers and assistant Holden Fox. Actors include Glen Bird as Tony Wendice, Alexandria Randolph as Margot Wendice, Patrick Lescarbeau as her enamoured defender Max Halliday, Guy Gober as the assassin Captain Lesgate, Randy Hilmer as Chief Inspector Hubbard and Corey Bogue as Officer Thompson.
Performances areThursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:15 p.m.

HCCT holds open auditions for 'A Little Off the Top'

Hill Country Community Theatre has announced open auditions dates of Feb. 29 and March 1 for their April production of the comedy “A Little Off the Top” by Carl L. Williams.

The comedy involves two balding men, their love interests and a toupee salesman in a cast of seven chosen from 7 p.m. auditions at the theatre, 4003 West Ranch to Market Road 2147, Cottonwood Shores. The classic 1950s thriller, “Dial M for Murder,” opens Thursday, Feb. 18, to run through March 6 at Hill Country Community Theatre  . Performances a Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:15 p.m..

Booklove Party for kids Thursday

A valentine craft will be added to the reading time for children, 4-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Marble Falls Public Library, 101 Main Street.
