Mah Jongg tourney to support HLSPCA

Committee members prepare for the Dec. 4 Hill Country Holiday Mah Jongg Tournament and entertain dogs from the Highland Lakes Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (HLSPCA), the organization to receive funds from the tourney. They are Becky Widner with Phoebe, Pat Moore with Chance, Linda Vitas with Lucy and Irene Renfro with Gemma. All the HLSPCA canines are looking for forever homes.

Seats are still available for the Dec. 4 Hill Country Holiday Mah Jongg Tournament to benefit the Highland Lakes Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (HLSPCA).

The event, welcoming both tournament and social players will be held at the Marble Falls Church of Christ at 711 Broadway.

Doors will open for the all day rounds at 8 a.m. and play in the three morning rounds will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Coffee and breakfast pastries and a catered lunch will be included before the two rounds of afternoon rounds of play.

The registration fee is $50, but prize money is offered and tickets will be sold for drawing prizes.
