The Community Resource Centers, Inc. understands that our community is changing rapidly. Trying to find the right help in a time of need can be very complicated and stressful. The Covid19 Virus has arrived in our area, and we are striving to keep information flowing to our clients, as well as our community partners. We are continuing business as usual and we will direct clients to the very best resource available to them.

PEC announces base electricity rate reduction

Pedernales Electric Cooperative’s (PEC) Board of Directors approved a rate reduction that will save PEC members over $6 million a year.

The rate decrease, which goes into effect June 1, reflects a reduction in the cost of power from PEC’s primary suppliers, including the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA).

PEC promotes starry nights, utility cost savings

In addition to supplying dark sky compliant streetlights to municipalities, PEC can supply and install compliant lights on members’ property as well. Members interested in having a light installed can contact PEC’s Planning Department at 877-372-0391.
