The 58th annual Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet was a sold-out affair, honoring the best of chamber members and volunteers and ending with a night of casino games.

Four of the awards were for individuals or organizations in the community.

Citizen of the Year was shared by Jim and Debbie Gallagher of the Burnet County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Stuart and Rebecca Nunnally shared the Lifetime Achievement Award and Innovator of the Year Award went to Alex and Kathy Payson, owners, of Numinous Coffee Roasters.

57th Annual Awards Banquet recognizes the best of Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce

At the 57th Annual Awards Banquet of the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Feb. 27, George and Cynthia Russell received the Lifetime Achievement Award and Fran McSpadden of Falls on the Colorado Museum was named Outstanding Citizen among honors presented. 
Gail Davalos of Mickey West Career Assets received the Innovator Award; Dan and Gretchen Copeland of Sweet Berry Farm, the Ambassador Award, and the Phoenix Center, the Community Service Award. Each was honored by a member of the chamber board of directors or its advisory board.
In addition to recognition of outgoing and incoming executive directors—Bill Rives and Patti Zinsmeyer, the Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Shawn Johnson by Julia Adams, director of special events.
