Burnet County Judge James Oakley won re-election by a very slim 55-vote margin to the Pedernales Electric Cooperative board of directors at Saturday's annual meeting, held at Horseshoe Bay Resort.

PEC names Parsley new chief executive, promotes Dauterive

The Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) Board of Directors on Thursday, Oct. 26, selected Julie Parsley to lead the nation’s largest and fastest-growing distribution electric cooperative and advanced Eddie Dauterive to chief of operations.

Parsley is a former partner of Parsley Coffin Renner, a law firm specializing in utility regulations.
