Burnet restaurant closes following COVID-19 precautions

The Burnet Whataburger, 402 E. Polk St. (Texas 29) is closed indefinitely due to precautions the business enacted after an employee reported a "presumptive positive" for COVID-19.

A Burnet fast-food restaurant will remain temporarily closed “out of an abundance of caution” after one of its employees received a presumptive positive diagnosis of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Whataburger donates dining furniture to Boys and Girls Club

Children of the Boys and Girls Club of the Highland Lakes got comfortable in the new chairs and booths provided by local Whataburger restaurants recently. The Marble Falls Whataburger location recently remodeled its interior and donated the old tables to the Boys & Girls Club.  On Feb. 19, Whataburger district manager Keith Jensen and Burnet general manager Shaun Dilworth served kids plates of chicken strips in Marble Falls.
