A Llano High School teacher is out of a job after being accused of having an improper relationship with a high school student.
Clarissa Sue McDaniel, 28, resigned Friday after she was arrested by Llano police on two counts of improper relationship between an educator and a student, a second-degree felony.
Llano Independent School District administrators were notified that McDaniel was allegedly involved in a relationship with a student, including participating in sexual relations in January, per court documents.
District officials have notified parents and indicated they intend to fully cooperate with the investigation by the Llano Police Department, Llano County Sheriff's Department and the Texas Rangers.
McDaniel was hired by the district last August and was in her first year teaching at the school.
