Alice! takes stage at MFHS tonight
Marble Falls High School One Act Play theatre students took first place in the One Act District competition last Wednesday, March 22, advanced from the Bi-District contest Friday, March 24, with a second place finish, and will now represent Marble Falls in the area contest this Saturday, April 1, at Claudia Taylor High School in San Antonio.
Residents can experience “Alice!,” the show that judges called “visually stunning, inspiring to watch, brilliantly staged, and genius!” in the MFHS Auditorium, today, March 29, at 7 p.m. The show is appropriate for all ages and tickets are $5 each at the door.
“All of the teachers on campus have been great in helping our students prepare for this competition,” said MFHS theatre director Jon Clark. “They approved having our student actors practice their British accents all of the time — even in all of their classes. That type of total campus commitment is what helps this show present so authentically on stage.”
