MFHS Homecoming events are going on all week, including the bonfire and parade scheduled Thursday, Sept. 28. The graduating class of 1972 is holding an open reunion that night and Saturday, Oct. 30 is the All School Reunion, followed by a 50th-year gathering of the Class of 1967.

Marble Falls High School (MFHS) Student Council members are hard at work preparing for this year’s Homecoming scheduled for Sept. 25–29 and MFHS ex-students are planning their own homecoming event Sept. 30--the All School Reunion-- including the 50th Anniversary of the Class of 1967.

High school students will be building the Homecoming excitement with a week of in-school spirit days leading up to the Homecoming ceremonies and the football game against Medina Valley, Friday, Sept. 29.

Everyone is invited to participate in the Homecoming Parade, Bon Fire and Pep Rally on Thursday Sept. 28, and Friday night pre-game and halftime celebrations.

The Homecoming Parade will follow the traditional route through the neighborhood north of Marble Falls Middle School (MFMS). Participants will stage in the front loop of MFMS at 1511 Pony Drive. The parade will begin promptly at 6 p.m. from there, northward up Northwood Drive toward the Marble Falls Independent School District Central Offices, 1800 Colt Circle.

To help all the town's students stay safe, parade participants on floats are encouraged to stay seated, and lightly toss soft candies well clear of the street.

Parade fans are asked to remain clear of the street while watching the parade and to be respectful of neighborhood yards by picking up trash after the parade.

The 2017 Spirit Week will include Merry Christmas Monday, Sept. 25; Love Your State Tuesday, Sept 26; Wear Your School Colors Wednesday, Sept. 27; TV Thursday, Sept. 28 and a 60’s Theme for the Friday and the Homecoming Pep Rally, Sept. 29.

All School Reunion & Class of '67

All former students of Marble Falls High are invited to the All School Reunion at the MFHS cafeteria on Mustang Drive Saturday, Sept. 30. Everyone is invited to visit, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

To be included in the lunch, the cost is $15 per person.

Those eating dinner at the 50th Anniversary of the Class of 1967, also should send $15. That event will be held at the home of Fay Brady.

And this just in from Class of '72

The Class of 1972, on Tuesday, reported they will hold a reunion for any former classmates, schoolmates or teacher who want to join in on Thursday, Oct. 28. It will be held at the Kenny Lewis Pavilion in Smithwick.
